You can choose to upgrade to Swann’s ExtraSafe plan which offers 30 days of secure cloud storage to access your video and images.

With no cables to run, the camera installs in minutes. It’s a great security solution for anyone who can’t drill into walls. The camera magnetically attaches to a stand that can be placed on a flat surface, or attached to a wall temporarily with the double-sided adhesive strips (included) or screwed permanently to a wall or ceiling using the included wall plugs and screws. For permanent outdoor installation add the Outdoor Mounting Stand (sold separately).

With Swann’s True Detect heat-sensing technology, the camera will record only when it senses heat-generating objects, like people, large pets and cars, up to 25ft (8m) away. This ensures that the security camera will only record relevant events and send you reliable push notifications while preserving battery life!

Always know the camera’s battery life via the app and when it’s time to recharge you will receive a push notification. Easily recharge the battery by plugging the included USB cable into your Smartphone’s wall charging plug. It takes up to 4-6 hours to charge the battery completely, with minimal downtime.

True Detect heat-sensing motion detection

The camera has a True Detect PIR heat sensor, the same technology used in alarm systems. True Detect is a step up from traditional motion detection as the PIR detects heat-generating objects, like people, large animals or cars, then triggers video recording and reliable push notifications. True Detect means no more false triggers from falling leaves, small birds or plants moving in the wind. It also boosts battery life by only recording relevant events.

Built-in microphone for audio monitoring

The microphone allows you to hear and record people talking and other audible noises. When you receive a push notification, use your phone to hear it live or during playback. Audio is a helpful, additional layer of security should you need to distinguish someone’s voice, gender, accent or off-camera noises.

Can’t drill, won’t drill? Swann’s Smart Security Camera is portable, cable-free and comes with double-sided adhesive 3M Command Strips for temporary application. Perfect for any rental properties when you can’t drill walls or apartments where it’s not always suitable to drill and run cables needed to install a hard-wired home security system. Each camera also comes with screws and wall plugs if you want to permanently fix to a wall or ceiling. There’s also an optional Outdoor Mounting Stand to permanently mount the camera outdoors.
