Record and review Full HD footage

The Swann DVR8-4680 is an 8 Channel 1080p Full HD digital video recorder. Its Full HD resolution can help you discern details such as faces and licence plates in your recordings.

Useful features for everyday monitoring

• Choose a hard-drive option: available as NO-HDD/1TB/2TB. The source describes local recording for up to a whole year onto a hard drive, with months of footage stored before older footage is overwritten.
• Keep a copy off-site: set the recorder to upload footage and still images to your Dropbox account, so image evidence can remain available if the security system is stolen.
• Find movement in a chosen area: Smart Search lets you select an area of the image and search recordings for movement there.
• Receive activity alerts: True Detect heat sensing can trigger recording and push notifications when warm objects such as people and cars are detected.
• Use voice commands: stream camera video via Google Assistant and Chromecast, Google Home Hub, or Alexa devices with a screen, such as Echo Spot and Echo Show.
• Transfer recordings: videos can be transferred to a USB stick or downloaded via network, with no ongoing fees stated by the source.
