Is this the right recorder for your system?

• Connect up to 8 cameras to cover areas you might otherwise miss. Compatible cameras include 885 MSB, 875 MSB and 865 MSB models.
• View your system over the internet with the HomeSafe View App on iOS or Android devices, including 3G/4G smartphones and tablets.
• Use video analytics to trigger recording and alerts, with options including Face Detection, Line Crossing Detection and Person Detection.

Recording and viewing options

The supplied 1TB HDD is described as providing local recording for up to 300 days+. When the drive fills, it saves over older footage. You can transfer videos to a USB stick or download them via the network, with no ongoing fees.

Set the system to upload still images to Dropbox, so image evidence can be stored off-site. Google Assistant and Chromecast voice commands let you stream camera video to your TV.

Connections and what’s included

Power, video and audio can run through a single Ethernet cable per camera using Power over Ethernet, helping simplify installation. The box includes the NVR-8580 with 1TB HDD, Ethernet cable, HDMI cable, power adapter, mouse, Quick Start Guide and theft deterrent sticker.
